Job Summary: Biofarma is seeking a Formulation Chemist to design and reformulate pharmaceutical products, develop manufacturing processes, and transfer technology to production lines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Pharmaceutical and cosmetic product design and reformulation 2. Development of manufacturing processes and improvement projects 3. Technology transfer of processes to production lines Biofarma requires: FORMULATION CHEMIST Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology. -Knowledge: Pharmaceutical, supplement, and cosmetic product design and formulation; basic statistics; pharmaceutical technology; experimental design and analysis; process technology transfer; NOM-059 and NOM-073. -Experience: 2 years in a similar position. Objective: Design and reformulation of pharmaceutical products (medicines, herbal remedies, and dietary supplements); development of manufacturing processes; improvement projects; and transfer of processes to production lines. Responsibilities: -Formulate and design manufacturing processes in accordance with regulations and quality specifications. -Conduct experimental and pilot-scale tests for the formulation of new medicines, herbal remedies, and dietary supplements. -Plan and execute process technology transfer for products. -Design reformulations or propose modifications to existing product line manufacturing processes to optimize resources. -Prepare and track change controls. -Review updates to regulations and pharmacopoeias. -Request technical information from manufacturers (raw materials and packaging).
