Job Summary: Transport and deliver cargo, ensuring adherence to assigned routes and maintaining the vehicle in good condition. Key Highlights: 1. Coordination and management of cargo delivery routes 2. Maintenance and regular inspection of the assigned vehicle 3. Customer interaction and service with established service protocols Transport the cargo previously assigned; complete assigned delivery routes punctually and accurately. Main Job Responsibilities: * Perform assigned routes and other operations related to the company. * Transport cargo. Main Job Functions: * Conduct a daily inspection of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Refuel the vehicle before beginning daily duties. * Record daily mileage, noting both the starting and ending odometer readings at the end of each workday. * Plan the daily route, preparing two alternative routes to fulfill job functions effectively. * Attend to and assist individuals assigned to your route, adhering strictly to professional etiquette and service protocols. * Complete the fuel consumption report relative to vehicle mileage. * Coordinate and take the vehicle for scheduled mechanical inspections. * Coordinate inspections required to obtain legal permits for vehicle operation. * Wash and clean the vehicle one to two times per week to maintain its presentable appearance. * Maintain a logbook of destinations to track vehicle routes and * Verify delivery orders by comparing invoices with items to be delivered. * Unload orders and place cargo as specified by customers.
