Description

Involves performing and coordinating administrative tasks related to operations, which may include data entry, ramp activities, sorting, tracking, shipping, and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these responsibilities, the majority of time is dedicated to office-based activities. **Job Overview:** Under general supervision, the following activities are performed: * Coordinates all local ground operations related to the operational interface between sorting, aircraft loading, and unloading activities. * Ensures aircraft loading and unloading are conducted safely and efficiently. * Completes all related documentation and manifests accurately and promptly. * Records proper aircraft weight and balance prior to takeoff. * Ensures all ground and ramp equipment remains in safe and operationally suitable condition through periodic inspections. * Operates and drives mechanical ground equipment and instructs ground support personnel on its proper use. * Coordinates flight delays, overflows, cancellations, and diversions. * Coordinates aircraft servicing with local contractors. * Completes and maintains up-to-date records of all related documentation. * Leads and provides technical support to cargo handling staff. * Ensures compliance with all FedEx-related policies, rules, procedures, and standards. * Performs sorting for inbound and outbound flights and operates ground equipment. * Ensures all ramp functions and safety procedures are carried out according to established FedEx policies and procedures. * Complies with airport regulations, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements, and local airport mandates. * Ensures hazardous materials are properly labeled, loaded, and documented prior to departure. * Properly sorts and scans all incoming and outgoing IP shipments. * Ensures implementation of AOD, TSA, AFAC, and AROM guidelines. * Updates and tracks regulatory documentation for the dispatch office, dispatch manual, TSA documentation, and DG files. * May be requested to perform other assigned tasks **Minimum Requirements:** **Minimum Education Level:** * Completed high school diploma or equivalent. * Proficiency in English (600 TOEIC points). **Minimum Experience:** * One (1) year of prior experience in airport ramp procedures and aircraft ground support is preferred. **Minimum Required Skills:** * Knowledgeable about the company’s preferred services and products. * Ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver any individual package weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. * Successful completion of the company-approved Ramp Agent training course. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Valid driver’s license and Operations Officer license. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC usage. * Planning and organizational skills. * Interpersonal skills. * Problem-solving skills.
