VACANCY: **CIVIL CONSTRUCTION RESIDENT** We are looking for a **Civil Engineer** or **Architect** to join our construction team in Acatlán de Juárez, Jalisco. At **Grupo CIGA**, we seek a Civil Engineer or Architect with strong **leadership skills and results-oriented focus** to join us as a Civil Construction Resident. You will be responsible for **on-site technical and administrative execution**, ensuring the project is delivered on time, as specified, and in accordance with established quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** \***Technical Supervision**: Ensure physical execution aligns with drawings and specifications. \***Logbook Management**: Daily and detailed recording of progress and on-site agreements. \***Administrative Control**: Preparation of cost estimates, work generators, and material input tracking. \***Personnel Management**: Coordination of in-house crews and subcontractors. \***Safety**: Monitoring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations (PPE). **Requirements:** \*Education: **Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture** (degree certificate and professional license required). \*Experience: Minimum of **5 years** of verifiable experience in construction residency (preferably in commercial construction projects). \*Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and cost estimation software (OPUS or NEODATA). Skills: Assertive communication, negotiation ability, and on-site conflict resolution. Availability: Monday through Saturday.
