A metal-mechanical sector company is seeking a **TIG Welder** for project-based work.
**Job Description:**
Support manufacturing, preparation, and assembly activities for metal parts in welding processes, ensuring proper material preparation, surface cleaning, and compliance with industrial safety guidelines within the plant.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Preparation of materials and metal parts for welding processes.
* Cleaning, grinding, and handling of manual and electric tools (polisher, grinder, drill).
* Basic knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, or stick electrode).
* Support in cutting, grinding, polishing, and basic finishing of metal parts.
* Compliance with industrial safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Support in preparing and monitoring work permits when required (hot work, working at heights, etc.).
**Desirable**
* Experience in industrial environments or manufacturing plants.
* Knowledge of assembling metal structures.
* Experience performing work inside plants requiring work permits.

**Education**
* Completed secondary education or technical training in welding, mechanics, or related fields.
**Experience**

* Basic interpretation of mechanical drawings or blueprints.
* Basic use of measuring tools (tape measure, square, basic vernier caliper).
