The laboratory technician provides all necessary support to ensure effective laboratory operation while complying with established procedures. **Job Profile:** * Education: TSU / Engineering. * Minimum experience: 2 years of work experience related to inspection and testing laboratories. Proficiency in Excel, microscope software, and Shimadzu machine is mandatory. Maintain control of records. * Report analysis and test data upon completion; promptly inform involved teams. * Conduct Cut and Edge, Opening Force, Push-Out, Torque-Out, Pull-Out, and Mechanical Tests. * Operate Measuring Equipment: Stereomicroscope, Shimadzu Universal Testing Machine, Torque Wrench, Dynamometer, Digital Caliper, Digital Micrometer, Polisher, Plasma, Band Saw. * Interpret test results, compare them against established specifications and control limits, and make appropriate data recommendations for publication. * Conduct visual inspections of finished products when applicable, e.g., weld quality. * Participate in analysis and corrective actions when out-of-specification results occur, and deliver presentations as needed. * Monitor test procedures to ensure all tests are performed per product specifications, standard test methods, or protocols. * Support calibration/verification systems. Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated/verified and in good working condition. * Collect SPC data for test characteristics per customer requirements. * Authority to stop the process or production line if product quality is at risk, and report issues per escalation plan based on laboratory test results. * Develop/revise Laboratory Equipment User Instructions. * Perform additional tasks assigned by the Laboratory Coordinator.
