Assess, plan, and intervene in sensory processing, autonomy, motor skills, and play challenges faced by neurodivergent children and adolescents (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder), promoting their active participation and well-being in everyday environments. Key Responsibilities * Sensory and functional assessment: Identify the individual’s sensory profile, motor skills (fine and gross), and level of independence in activities of daily living (ADLs). * Sensory integration intervention: Design and implement play-based therapeutic sessions driven by intrinsic motivation, adapting the environment to the user’s needs. * Autonomy development: Provide strategies and adaptations to support feeding, dressing, hygiene, and emotional/behavioral self-regulation. * Family and school consultation: Develop "sensory diets" and provide practical tools to parents and educators for creating accessible and safe environments. * Interdisciplinary collaboration: Co-design goals with speech-language therapy, psychology, and families. Required Profile * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (with professional license). Training or certification in Sensory Integration (Ayres) is desirable. * Approach: Neurodiversity-affirming practice, respect for developmental pacing, and prioritization of regulation over compliance. * Skills: Creativity in designing emotionally engaging and playful challenges, empathy, strong observational skills, and active listening. Salary: $6,970.00 - $10,000.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
