Work closely with research and data analytics teams The World Justice Project (WJP) is seeking a full\-time Information and Data Visualization Designer – Consultant to support its Communications Team. This role operates at the intersection of research, editorial production, and design. The primary objective is to translate complex data regarding justice and governance into clear, accessible, and high\-quality visual products. WJP’s communications team is based in Mexico City. **About the World Justice Project** The World Justice Project (WJP) was launched in 2009 to promote justice and the rule of law globally. It is best known for its Rule of Law Index, the world’s leading source on the performance of 143 countries in relation to absence of corruption, open government, civil and criminal justice, fundamental rights, and other rule of law standards. Drawing on the Index methodology, WJP also undertakes in\-depth studies on particularly countries and topics, such as access to justice, criminal justice, environmental governance, and corruption. WJP puts this data and research into action to strengthen the rule of law through convening, engagement, and support of a global network—including through the biennial World Justice Forum and World Justice Challenge. For more information, please visit worldjusticeproject.org. **Responsibilities** Visual Strategy \& Data Visualization * Collaborate with the design and communications teams to define the visual and editorial strategy for institutional publications. * Design and produce data visualizations (including choropleth maps, heatmaps, and various charts) for reports, indices, and digital publications. * Adapt content and visualizations across multiple formats and platforms (PDF, web, presentations, and social media). Interface \& Systems Design * Design user interfaces (UI) for institutional websites and data dashboards. * Develop and maintain document templates and design systems for cross\-functional use throughout the organization. * Document visual criteria and narrative decisions to ensure future coherence and ease of reuse. Cross\-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with Research and Data Analytics teams in meetings to deeply understand investigations and data, identifying key insights to propose innovative visualization solutions.
