




**Objective:** Supervise personnel under your charge to ensure shipments arrive on time and with the requested product quantity, based on customer purchase orders, thereby guaranteeing compliance with customer requirements in terms of timing and form. Direct the necessary processes to move the product from production through to final distribution, possessing analytical capability and knowledge of international trade, among other factors enabling achievement of the company’s logistics objectives. **Activities:** * Supervision of cold and preservation chambers, ensuring their proper operation. * Preparation of daily temperature record forms for preservation chambers. * Coordination of operational staff responsible for loading and unloading pallets into and from cold and preservation chambers. * Conducting inventory analyses for preservation chambers. * Analyzing manifests prepared for shipment loading. * Preparation, coordination, and delivery\-receipt of export documentation for avocados with various departments including production, third-party providers, USDA personnel, phytosanitary personnel, and food safety personnel. * Obtaining permits and documents required for handling avocados both domestically and internationally. * Coordination of avocado shipments and loads within the company. * Coordination and supervision during loading. * Establishing safety and hygiene protocols during avocado loading into refrigerated trailers. * Sealing refrigerated trailers following security measures and standards established by health authorities. * Maintenance and cleaning of cold and preservation chambers. * Preparing quality reports for each load processed at the packing facility. * Delivering documentation to drivers of vehicles departing from the packing facility. * Sending documentation to contracted customs brokers providing services at border crossings. * Resolving questions or comments from involved parties. * Maintaining constant and effective communication with all persons and departments involved. **Activities related to food safety and/or certifications:** * Proper storage of organically certified and Global G.A.P.-certified fruit. * Storage, registration, and safeguarding of shipment files. * Keeping work areas clean and orderly. * Verifying the status of Global G.A.P.-certified fruit in the database prior to loading and arrival.
