**Job Description: Maintenance and Cleaning – Gym** **Position:** Maintenance and Cleaning Assistant **Schedule:** * **Monday to Friday:** 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) * **Saturday:** 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * **Day off:** Sunday **Location:** Life Gym Cañadas **Requirement:** Live near the area **or** have personal transportation for evening shifts. **Job Objective** Maintain gym facilities in optimal conditions of cleanliness, order, and functionality, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and hygienic experience for all users. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. **General Facility Cleaning** * Cleaning of common areas: reception, hallways, exercise rooms, studios, restrooms, showers, and locker rooms. * Sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. * Cleaning mirrors, glass, doors, and handrails. * Proper handling of cleaning products. * Emptying trash bins and restocking supplies (soap, toilet paper, towels, etc.). **2\. Basic Maintenance** * Inspecting and reporting equipment or facility malfunctions (burnt-out light bulbs, leaks, minor failures, etc.). * Ensuring machines are clean and in good condition after use. * Assisting with minor maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor. **3\. Activity Logs** The employee must complete and sign the following logs daily: **Cleaning Log** Includes activities such as: * Cleaning restrooms and locker rooms (every 2 hours). * Disinfecting machines and equipment. * Floor cleaning by zone (entrance, cardio area, weight room, studios). * Inspection and restocking of supplies. * Weekly deep cleaning (assigned zones). **Basic Maintenance Log** * Reporting damages or malfunctions. * Checking lights, ventilation, and overall functionality. * Tracking pending repairs. **Opening/Closing Log** * Checking orderliness across all areas. * Verifying locks, turning off lights and equipment. * Confirming facility safety conditions. **Requirements** * Live near the gym **or have personal transportation**. * Availability during the stated schedule. * Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance (preferred). * Responsible, punctual, and service-oriented. * Ability to work in an organized manner following log procedures. **We Offer** * Biweekly pay: $4,500 ($9,000 net monthly) * Stable work environment. * On-the-job training. * Statutory benefits.
