Requirements: * Minimum education required: Certified technician in non-destructive testing. * Experience: Minimum 2 years in quality inspection of metal structures. Job Objective: To ensure that manufacturing, assembly, welding, coating, and erection processes for metal structures comply with quality requirements specified in drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, and customer requirements, through inspections, releases, and document control. Duties and Responsibilities: * Verify that received materials comply with specifications and quality certificates. * Inspect cutting, preparation, assembly, and fabrication processes. * Perform dimensional inspections of parts and structures. * Validate compliance with tolerances and specifications shown on drawings. * Inspect welding processes. * Verify surface preparation and coating application. * Execute manufacturing and erection releases. * Identify and report deviations or non-conformities. * Follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Technical Knowledge: * Interpretation of structural and fabrication drawings. * Metal structure fabrication processes. * Dimensional inspection. * Welding processes. * Welding symbols. * Use of measuring equipment. * AWS, AISC, and ASTM standards. * Coatings and surface preparation. * Preparation of quality reports. * Material traceability. * Basic/intermediate proficiency in Excel and document control software.
