Quality supervision and compliance with standards in metal manufacturing. **Academic Qualifications:** Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years in production coordination or supervision within metal structure workshops or industrial manufacturing. * Demonstrable experience in improving and standardizing production processes. * Knowledge of blueprint interpretation, welding specifications, and quality control in metal structures. **Position Objective** * Coordinate and optimize workshop production operations, ensuring compliance with manufacturing schedules, quality and safety standards, fostering continuous improvement and process standardization to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve personnel and equipment productivity. **Main Responsibilities** * Plan, coordinate, and monitor the production schedule according to customer requirements and established deadlines. * Analyze fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, and painting processes to identify improvement opportunities and propose technical and operational solutions. * Supervise compliance with quality standards within the workshop. * Coordinate with engineering, quality, and logistics departments to ensure efficient material and information flow. * Monitor key production performance indicators (KPIs): efficiency, downtime, rework, schedule adherence, among others. * Implement continuous improvement tools (5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, process standardization). * Train operational staff on new procedures, best practices, and efficient manufacturing techniques. * Ensure preventive maintenance of workshop machinery and tools. * Participate in production planning and control meetings, reporting progress and deviations. **Technical Knowledge:** * Metal manufacturing processes: cutting, assembly, welding, painting, and installation. * Production control and capacity planning. * Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, SMED). * Performance indicators (KPIs) and efficiency analysis. * Applicable standards for metal structures (AWS D1\.1, ASTM, AISC, etc.). **Soft Skills:** * Results-oriented leadership. * Analytical thinking and focus on continuous improvement. * Effective communication and collaborative teamwork. * Planning and organization. * Ability to manage change and standardize processes.
