Position: Quality Inspector A company in the metal-mechanical sector is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its technical team. Location: Ciudad Granja, Zapopan, Jalisco We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure our products meet technical specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal manufacturing processes and knowledge of measurement and quality control tools. Responsibilities Conduct inspections during laser cutting, CNC bending, assembly, welding, electrostatic painting, and final assembly stages. Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, precision squares, and thickness gauges. Document findings on inspection sheets and non-conformance reports. Collaborate in implementing corrective and preventive actions. Maintain updated records of instrument calibration and maintenance logs. Participate in internal and external quality audits. Requirements Minimum education: Technical degree in Quality, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related field. Minimum one year of experience in quality inspection within metal manufacturing environments. Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and geometric tolerances (GD&T). Proficiency with measurement and verification tools. Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Desired Experience implementing continuous improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, or Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of industrial welding and painting processes.
