




**Location:** Hacienda Labor de Rivera, in Teuchitlán, Jalisco **Position Description** Responsible for the preparation and presentation of dishes to the highest quality standards. **Objective:** ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests and visitors, in a historic and unique setting, meeting the highest industry standards for quality, hygiene, and operations. **Main Responsibilities** * Prepare, cook, and plate food according to established recipes and standards. * Supervise proper mise en place before each service. * Maintain cleanliness and organization at the workstation. * Comply with food safety and hygiene guidelines (NOM-251, internal policies, and applicable standards). * Coordinate and assist in training Cooks B and kitchen assistants. * Guarantee the quality, seasoning, and presentation of each dish. * Optimize the use of ingredients and contribute to waste control. **Requirements** * Minimum of 2 years of experience as head chef or in a similar role. * Highly desirable experience in catering/banquet services. * Solid knowledge of Mexican and international cooking techniques. * Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. * Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays). * Education: Technical degree in Gastronomy or related field (desirable, not essential). **We Offer** * Competitive salary based on experience. * Statutory benefits. * Meals during shift. * Opportunity for growth within the Hacienda. * Professional work environment in a unique historical space. * Bonuses/commissions for events.
