As part of our engineering organization, you will design and develop core cloud platform capabilities powering Oracle’s next\-generation Exadata services in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will work alongside world\-class engineers solving complex distributed systems challenges at massive scale while building highly available, resilient, and customer\-centric cloud solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to foundational cloud infrastructure technologies that power some of the world’s most demanding enterprise applications. * Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure services for OCI Exadata Cloud. * Build high\-performance distributed systems focused on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. * Develop innovative features across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud orchestration layers. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with software engineers, architects, SREs, and product teams to deliver cloud platform capabilities. * Optimize system performance, latency, resiliency, and resource utilization for large\-scale enterprise workloads. * Contribute to the architecture and evolution of next\-generation Exadata cloud technologies. * Troubleshoot complex production and distributed systems issues in highly scalable cloud environments. * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering best practices to maintain high\-quality software standards. * Drive automation, observability, and operational improvements across cloud infrastructure services. * Continuously improve system availability, scalability, and customer experience. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field. * 5\+ years of software engineering experience * Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as: + C\+\+ + Java + Python Go + Technical Skills: * Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure concepts. * Experience building scalable backend or infrastructure services. * Knowledge of Linux systems internals and networking fundamentals. * Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM, containers, or hypervisors. * Familiarity with high\-performance networking technologies (RDMA/RoCE is a plus). * Understanding of performance optimization, concurrency, and scalable system design. * Experience with cloud platforms or large\-scale infrastructure environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and operational tooling. * Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure services. * Knowledge of database infrastructure or storage systems. * Experience operating highly available production systems at scale. * Passion for solving complex engineering problems in large\-scale distributed environments. * Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross\-functional engineering teams.
