SOFOM company seeks Junior Accountant (SOFOM) (MXN 30,000–35,000 per month plus statutory benefits) **Location:** Insurgentes Sur 667; Benito Juárez; Mexico City **Reports to:** Accounting/Finance Manager **Position Type:** Full-time **Position Summary** The Junior Accountant will assist the senior accounting team with daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the SOFOM’s financial information and compliance with Mexican accounting and tax regulations, including regulatory reporting to the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), where applicable. **Key Responsibilities** * **Accounting Entries:** Record and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions, revenues, and expenses are accurately accounted for. * **Accounts Payable and Receivable:** Update accounts payable and issue invoices, as well as perform bank and general ledger reconciliations. * **Report Preparation:** Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. * **Tax Compliance:** Assist in preparing tax calculations and ensure compliance with relevant tax obligations. * **Audit Support:** Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial review processes. * **Payroll Management:** Support, as needed, the processing and accounting recording of monthly payroll.
