*This vacancy comes from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Vacancy at Talent Development Consulting HH in Toluca, State of Mexico** **General Accountant** **About the company:** Leading Tier-1 company in the market, located in the Toluca area; we are seeking a General Accountant. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Completed bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, or a related field. * At least 5 years of senior general ledger accountant (Record-to-Report process) experience in an international manufacturing environment, preferably automotive—or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Strong analytical skills and process orientation. * Excellent problem-solving skills. **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** * Calculating and posting recurring and one-off items requiring separate processing or provisions, and continuously tracking these items. * Posting and reconciling payroll. * Currency revaluations. * IDL reporting. * Reconciling balance sheet accounts. * Process Owner for asset accounting. * Ongoing monitoring and coordination of leasing matters. * Monitoring intercompany payables and receivables. * Close collaboration with controllers/business partners at the relevant company and with CU-3FR when processing new, rare, and significant business transactions. * Assisting in documenting processes and implementing new processes. * Generating standard reports and conducting business management analyses. * Providing statistics to authorities. * Providing input to auditors in the assigned area. * Defining, analyzing, and tracking relevant KPIs. * Payroll accounting (monthly reconciliation from local books to payroll system). * Calculation and control of social security provisions. * Oversight of HR calculations and support for Social Security audits. * Support on union-related topics. * Actuarial calculation of severance and seniority premium. * Preparation of financial statements under local GAAP for external auditor signature. **Required Profile:** * **Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting** * **Advanced English** * **Interpretation and preparation of financial statements** * **Understanding of general accounting principles** * **Excel** * **IFRS** * **SAP** **Compensation Package:** Salary: $50,000–$51,000 + Statutory vacation days, + 60% vacation bonus, + Christmas bonus equivalent to 30 days’ salary, + 12% Housing Fund (FA), + 11% meal vouchers (capped at statutory limit), + Life insurance covering 24 and 48 months, + Personal GMM insurance. **Desired Education Level:** Bachelor’s degree (completed) **Desired Experience Level:** Mid-level **Departmental Function:** Accounting / Finance **Industry:** Automotive **Skills:** * IFRS * Advanced English *This vacancy comes from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j_id=6940af3c2400003900feea32&source=indeed*
