Responsible for managing and organizing resources to execute daily operational tasks. Guide and lead the operations team to achieve objectives and meet performance metrics, while ensuring all departmental processes are carried out correctly and in compliance with safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and coordinate the workforce to execute operational processes within receiving, shipping, and product location areas. * Design solutions for process deviations to ensure achievement of operational metrics. * Monitor and control the supplies required to conduct operations. * Generate and report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics both internally and to the client. * Promote a culture of health and safety by adhering to protocols established by the Safety department. * Report equipment damage—including office equipment, freight, material handling equipment, facilities, or tools—to the supervisor. * Ensure all physical movements (receiving, shipping, returns, transfers, etc.) are accurately reflected in the system. * Respond to and follow up on operational issues affecting customer service. **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading operations in distribution centers with teams of over 30 people. * Experience using a WMS system. * Proficiency in continuous improvement tools, as well as interpretation and analysis of operational results. * Intermediate English proficiency preferred. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **GXO Logistics** is an equal opportunity employer for candidates seeking to join our team.
