Come join this outstanding team as: **ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN** **OBJECTIVE:** Achieve maximum equipment availability by increasing mean time between failures (MTBF) and reducing mean time to repair (MTTR), thereby ensuring the highest possible compliance with preventive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance activities—implemented through the TPM methodology. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:** * Mechanics / Hydraulics / Pneumatics * Electricity / Electronics * Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) * PC operation * Machinery and tools * Quality management systems: BRCGS, ISO 9001:2015 * Kaizen * Interpretation of electrical/electronic diagrams * PLC programming * Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Report, track, and record equipment failure data; close maintenance work orders; generate reliable databases for analysis and decision-making based on TPM principles. * Schedule preventive and predictive maintenance activities using failure data, equipment manuals, and maintenance diagnostics. * Conduct root cause analysis of corrective maintenance failures and define preventive action plans to avoid failures causing more than three hours of downtime. * Maximize equipment availability by increasing MTBF and reducing average MTTR. * Execute preventive maintenance tasks per established maintenance programs and evaluate their effectiveness. * Review inventory levels and scheduled maintenance needs, then request spare parts from the Maintenance Supervisor. * Request support from the Maintenance Supervisor to engage external vendors for repairs or services beyond the technician’s capability or requiring specialized equipment or tools. * Maintain the work area and tool cart according to the 5S methodology and restore the intervention area to its original condition upon completion. * Support production lines during product changeovers when requested by specialized mechanical technicians for adjustments outside their scope or requiring additional assistance. * Maintain an accurate inventory of assigned tools and request replacements from the Production Supervisor as needed. * Report safety, quality, and regulatory compliance issues related to processes and products, following established methodologies, and generate tracking cards for follow-up until resolution. * Participate actively in training, safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and work methodology initiatives. * Respect and apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Perform quick changeovers (SMED) at the workstation and participate in Kaizen events to solve problems. * Contribute to and implement continuous improvement ideas aligned with the company’s continuous improvement program.
