




Junior Engineer/Architect – Housing and Urban Development Projects** **Job Objective** Provide technical and operational support in architectural drawing preparation, budgeting, basic infrastructure design, and construction supervision for social housing projects and residential subdivisions, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery of outputs. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Architectural Project Development * Preparation of architectural drawings using AutoCAD or similar software. * Modeling and updating of execution and construction drawings. * Preparation of descriptive reports and technical data sheets as required. 2. Budgeting and Cost Estimation * Compilation of budgets using platforms such as Neodata or Opus. * Material quantity take-offs and unit price analysis. * Updating of item catalogs and adjustments based on construction progress. 3. Infrastructure Design * Development of basic layouts for hydraulic and sanitary networks. * Support in preparing diagrams, specifications, and construction details. * Coordination with external engineers when applicable. 4. Field Supervision and On-site Work * Basic architectural and topographic surveys. * Construction supervision. * Photographic and technical reporting on progress, incidents, and estimates. 5. Administrative Procedures and Management * Support in procedures before Urban Development, Cadastral, and municipal authorities. * Compilation of technical files for permits and licenses. * Review of local regulations applicable to social housing. 6. Visual Production * Creation of basic renderings and simple presentation videos. * Preparation of presentation boards, slides, and visual materials for clients or authorities. **Candidate Profile – Education** * Recently graduated architect or with 1–2 years of experience in an architectural firm or on-site construction. **Technical Competencies** * Proficient use of AutoCAD. * Basic knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting. * Fundamental understanding of hydraulic and sanitary installations. * Ability to conduct on-site supervision. * General knowledge of urban regulations and municipal procedures (desirable). **Personal Competencies** * Initiative and proactivity. * Honesty and responsibility. * Ability to learn quickly. * Autonomous and organized work habits. **Desirable Software** * AutoCAD * Neodata / Opus * SketchUp or similar for basic renderings **Job Conditions** * Hybrid mode: office-based work and site visits as needed. * Willingness to travel within the city when project requirements demand. * Focus on professional growth within the project and construction field. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Timely delivery of drawings and budgets. * Regulatory compliance in projects and administrative procedures. * Efficient supervision and clear reporting. * Accurate compilation of technical files.
