Role Summary We are seeking a professional with solid experience in **cost estimation** for construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves blueprint reading, take-off, and preparation of bases of estimate (BOE). Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed estimates (materials, labor, indirect costs, contingencies). * Interpret blueprints and perform take-off and material quantification. * Request, compare, and negotiate quotations with suppliers. * Generate purchase orders (POs) for materials and services. * Monitor and track total project cost. * Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients. * Input data into digital tools (Zoho preferred). * Prepare reports and comparative analyses for project management. Essential Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with valid professional license (Mexico). * Proven experience in cost estimation (ideally 3+ years). * Professionalism and strong communication skills. * Personal transportation and willingness to travel. Preferred Qualifications * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency. * Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. * Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. * Advanced proficiency in software (Excel/Office); Zoho is a plus. * Ability to create/edit CAD drawings (AutoCAD, BricsCAD).
