**Objective:** Supervise and ensure the proper execution of assembly, welding, alignment, and securing of metal structures on site, in accordance with drawings, quality and safety standards, and established schedules. **Main Responsibilities** * Daily supervision of assembly, welding, alignment, bolting, and finishing activities. * Validate proper receipt, storage, and handling of materials (steel, fasteners, plates). * Verify compliance with structural specifications and tolerances. * Review welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welder qualifications. * Coordinate with the site resident engineer, contractors, and erection crews. * Implement and enforce safety measures for lifting operations, crane maneuvers, and work at height. * Report progress, incidents, and deviations in schedule/costs. * Validate estimates, generators, and logbooks. * Audit quality control processes: ultrasonic testing, liquid penetrant testing. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Architect, or related degree. * **Experience:** 5+ years supervising industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects with specialization in metal structures. * **Key Knowledge:** * Advanced interpretation of structural, isometric, and shop drawings. * Applicable regulations (AISC, AWS D1.1, CFE, local codes). * Steel fabrication, assembly, lifting, and welding processes. * Quality control, industrial safety, and construction project management. **Skills:** * Leadership and team management. * On-site decision-making. * Effective communication with contractors, suppliers, and clients. * Schedule, cost, and technical reporting management.
