A construction company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Drafter. Job Location: Our offices are located in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico (adjacent to the Mexico-Pachuca Highway and its intersection with the Naucalpan-Ecatepec Highway), 5 minutes from the Indios Verdes CETRAM. Fieldwork at construction sites within the metropolitan area and/or other locations may be required, depending on suitability for residence or assistance. Main Responsibilities: - Review of projects and accurate interpretation thereof: earthwork, civil works, structural, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP), and finishing drawings (primarily industrial and commercial projects). - Quantification of construction volumes based on drawings for budget preparation, cost estimates, and/or material procurement. - Revision and correction of drawings in case of on-site modifications. - Preparation of architectural drawings according to specified requirements. - Collaboration with administrative and documentary information for tenders and site support, including forms, dossiers, and schedules. If assigned to a construction site: - Supervise construction execution in accordance with project specifications. - Manage personnel and coordinate with contractors to ensure smooth workflow. - Monitor construction progress and control materials. - Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and organize files and information. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields. - Prior experience performing the duties described above. - Proficiency in AutoCAD. - Proficiency in Excel. - Proficiency in rendering software (optional). - Proficiency in NeoData (optional). - Proficiency in Microsoft Project (optional). Office-based work with potential field assignments. Salary: $8,000.00 – $14,000.00 per month, commensurate with experience. Position Type: Full-time. Salary: Starting at $8,000.00 per month.
