Maintaining reliable databases and strong data integrity is critical to our daily operations. **ABOUT THE ROLE** We are looking for a hands\-on SQL Engineer to help maintain and improve the quality, structure, and reliability of our operational data. This role focuses on SQL development, data cleaning, and data governance automation to ensure that data across our systems remains accurate and consistent. You will work closely with operations and business teams to maintain data integrity and support integrations between our core systems. This is not a reporting or BI role. The focus is on database work, data quality, and system reliability. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts using MariaDB * Perform data cleaning and normalization to ensure accurate records across systems * Implement data validation and integrity controls * Build automation processes to improve data governance and consistency * Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies between systems * Maintain and support data synchronization between operational platforms * Support integrations between CRM systems (such as HubSpot) and financial platforms (such as QuickBooks) * Optimize queries and improve database performance **REQUIREMENTS** * 5\+ years of experience working with SQL in production environments * Strong experience writing and optimizing queries in MariaDB or MySQL * Experience with data cleaning, validation, and data integrity processes * Experience working with CRM and financial system integrations * Understanding of data governance and data quality practices * Strong attention to detail and problem\-solving mindset * Comfortable working in a small, fast\-paced team **NICE TO HAVE** * Experience with BigQuery * Experience building or maintaining automated data processes **WHY JOIN GREENDAY FINANCE** * Work directly on systems that support core business operations * Collaborative team environment * Hybrid work model in Mexico City If you enjoy working directly with databases, solving data quality problems, and building reliable systems that support business operations, we’d love to hear from you.
