Opportunity for development and growth. **TRAFFIC ASSISTANT** Coordinate and supervise the product import process, ensuring compliance with customs regulations (SAT, Ministry of Economy), international logistics (freight forwarders, shipping lines), and timely warehouse receipt, while minimizing costs and delays. Required Profile * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, International Business, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 1–4 years in traffic, import, or logistics roles. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Customs legislation (Customs Law). * Incoterms 2020\. * Maritime, air, and land transportation. * ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, ODOO, etc.). * **Languages:** Intermediate–advanced English (for supplier negotiations) Main Responsibilities * **Shipment Tracking:** Track cargo in real time (maritime, air, land) and report status. * **Customs Management:** Coordinate with customs agents for cargo clearance at key points (e.g., AICM, AIFA, Veracruz, Laredo). * **Document Review:** Validate commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading (B/L), and customs entry forms (pedimentos). * **Logistics Coordination:** Negotiate with transportation providers and customs agencies. * **Tariff Classification:** Support accurate product classification (tariff fraction) and compliance with non-tariff regulations (RRNAs). * **Costing:** Review proforma customs entry forms and submit expense reports to Finance. Skills and Competencies * **Negotiation:** Ability to resolve disputes and secure better lead times/rates. * **Critical thinking and problem solving:** Respond quickly to customs contingencies. * **Results orientation:** Focus on on-time delivery. * **Organization:** Handling detailed documentation.
