**Financial Auditor** **Location:** Chalco, State of Mexico **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. **Position type:** Full-time **Area:** General Management – Audit Department **Reports to:** Audit Manager Position objective Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company's financial statements and accounting processes through systematic internal audits, financial analysis, and verification of regulatory compliance (local, national, and internal), especially within the medical device sector. Main responsibilities * Design and execute risk-based internal financial audit plans. * Analyze accounting and financial information, ensuring its accuracy and regulatory compliance. * Evaluate internal controls and propose improvements. * Verify compliance with tax, accounting, and health regulations. * Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for financial and administrative processes. * Identify financial risks and propose preventive measures. Academic requirements * Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (degree and professional license required). * Desired: Master's degree in related fields. Required experience * Required: * 2 years as a financial auditor, financial accounting analyst, or in similar roles. * Desired: * 3 years in operational auditing or financial analysis. Technical knowledge * COSO, risk management, report preparation, policies, and manuals. * Database management, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, SAE. * Mexican tax legislation (ISR, IVA, IMSS, INFONAVIT). * NIF, IFRS standards, and current tax regulations.
