Professional technician specialized in Industrial Processes **Experience:**Minimum 3 years of experience as a buyer. **Gender:**Indifferent **Willingness to travel:**No **Relocation:**No **Work schedule:**Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 hours **Marital status:**Indifferent **Reports to:**Plant Manager **Subordinate positions:**Warehouse clerks OBJECTIVE: * Ensure production timeliness by operating a procurement system for raw materials and supplies that guarantees the best purchasing conditions for the company. * Timely supply various departments with raw materials, materials, hardware, spare parts, and components to ensure product quality and facilitate continuous production. * Establish negotiations with suppliers aimed at obtaining the best conditions regarding quality, price, and delivery timing for raw materials and supplies. * Provide timely follow-up on purchase and service orders and monitor compliance with agreed purchasing terms with each supplier. * Conduct ongoing supplier research to maintain a catalog of options that provide competitive advantage for the company. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct research on supplier options offering the best conditions to the company. Prepare, analyze, and present Comparative Purchase Reports for approval. Investigate the availability of new materials. Update the Materials and Supplies Catalog. Update the Supplier Catalog. Verify budget availability before issuing the corresponding Purchase Order. Coordinate with the Budgeting department to secure budget allocation for purchases. Issue Purchase Orders and ensure their receipt by the supplier. Monitor supplier order fulfillment. Submit weekly purchase reports. Prepare lists of major orders requiring approval from the Planning Director. Coordinate with the Design Manager or Production Supervisor the manufacturing of prototypes, complementary components, and generally all types of special fabrication components assigned to suppliers. Collaborate in coordinating work teams when operational needs require it. Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager the receipt of materials or supplies in the materials warehouse. Participate in testing new materials. Know the facilities and capabilities of various suppliers. Compile the file for each supplier. Coordinate with the Design Manager or Production Supervisor the manufacturing of prototypes, complementary components, and generally all types of special fabrication components assigned to suppliers.
