Committed to attracting and retaining the most talented people. **SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering. * 2 to 4 years of experience as a buyer or junior buyer in industrial indirect services and/or services. * Analytical ability, strategy development, sense of urgency, and problem-solving skills. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills. * Preferably experience in companies within the food industrial sector. * Knowledge of procurement processes, RFI (Request for Information), RFQ (Request for Quotation), negotiation closing. * Knowledge of SAP (optional, Material Management module). * Hybrid work model: 2 days at the Ocoyoacac plant, 1 day at the Cuajimalpa office, and 2 days remote. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Optimization and Procurement: Drive value, cost savings, and process improvements in assigned categories, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. * Supplier Management: Coordinate service level agreements (SLA), ensure quality and consistency of materials, and resolve quality, service, and financial issues. * Financial Analysis: Develop forecasts, update supplier databases, and prepare financial reports such as cost analysis, contracts, and expense tracking. * Operational Oversight: Manage purchase orders, forecasts, inventory, pricing, and invoicing, ensuring appropriate service levels through key performance metrics. * Negotiation and Strategy: Lead strategic sourcing teams, evaluate suppliers, participate in negotiations, and define purchasing strategies. * Collaboration and Presentations: Participate in organizational projects, conduct internal and external presentations, and coordinate with buyers across various regions. * Contract Management: Administer legal contracts and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with corporate regulations. **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Effectively manage assigned categories to ensure compliance with Rich’s delivery, quality, cost, and safety standards, ensuring that company values are reflected throughout the supply base. Drive suppliers to continuously improve the value they bring to the organization, promoting process optimization and strengthening strategic relationships.
