**Profile** * Education: Civil Engineer. * Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in structural calculation and design of metal industrial buildings and Joist systems. Technical knowledge: * Design using AISC 360, CFE 2015, AWS D1\.1, ASCE 7, AISI, and complementary standards. * Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, preferably: * SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Tekla or similar * Advanced AutoCAD skills (essential) * Desired knowledge in Tekla Structures or Revit Structure. * Knowledge in structural detailing and fabrication criteria for metal structures. * BIM * Languages: English (reading of drawings and standards). **Main Responsibilities** * Perform structural analysis and design of industrial buildings, rigid frames, light metal structures, and floor and roof systems with Joist and Joist Girder type beams. * Prepare and review calculation reports, structural drawings, and construction details. * Coordinate with design, fabrication, and assembly departments to ensure proper interpretation of structural drawings. * Verify that designs comply with applicable codes and standards (AISC, ASTM, AWS, CFE, LRFD, ASD, etc.). * Optimize designs considering structural efficiency, cost, and ease of fabrication. * Review and validate 3D models and shop drawings generated by the detailing department. * Support the preparation of technical proposals for new projects or bids. * Issue technical reports and assist in resolving non-conformities or structural adjustments during fabrication or assembly. **Competencies** * Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. * Responsibility and commitment to design quality. * Collaborative work within multidisciplinary teams. * Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines. * Proactive in seeking efficient structural solutions.
