Take on exciting challenges and build a career path that reflects who you are. **Position Mission:** Ensure the accuracy of financial statements issuance, timely submission of local and corporate financial reports, as well as timely declaration and determination of corresponding federal taxes. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**1. Will follow up on the accounting closing process for the legal entities under their responsibility, ensuring timely recording of provisions, reclassifications, capitalizations; Will ensure timely reporting of the financial model for each legal entity. Will report corporate figures to the group through the Smart Reporting Package, ensuring correct accounting data reporting within D+3. Will prepare recurring Local and Corporate Financial Statements, ensuring analysis of balance sheet figures and other income statement items (Depreciation, Provisions, Foreign Exchange Revaluations, etc.), enabling control over key business indicators (Capex, Ebitta, Energy Margin, D&A, Opex, among others.) Will timely report local and foreign intercompany transactions in SAP and SMART, with prior reconciliation with the counterpart. Will validate the recording and reporting within their assigned P&L category (SG&A, Selling, Cost) Management and recording of accounting entries in different accounting ledgers within SAP. 2. Will collaborate with cross-functional process teams to ensure proper execution of Depreciations, Amortizations, Capitalizations, Payroll Recording, Bank Reconciliations. 3. Will ensure timely delivery of information to external and internal auditors. Will prepare Financial Statements for External Audit purposes; 4. Will support the preparation of work papers required for provisional ISR tax payments, monthly definitive IVA tax payments, monthly and annual informational filings, ISSIF or Tax Certifications. 5. Will work together with the Tax Senior Accountant to monitor the tax mailbox and track requirements and official letters issued by various authorities through said mailbox. Will collaborate in reporting Electronic Accounting when modifications occur to the chart of accounts. Likewise, will provide financial and accounting information serving as the basis for determining federal and/or local taxes, informational filings. Will contribute to the Tax Senior Accountant in preparing the Transfer Pricing template. Will work jointly with the Tax Senior Accountant on compiling responses to requirements, official letters, and reviews issued by the tax authority. 6. Will prepare the related-party transaction template, ensuring all involved transactions are included, after prior reconciliation with accounting records and confirmation of figures with the intercompany party. Must align the tax treatment of each transaction together with the Tax Senior Accountant. 7. Safeguard accounting and tax information in the assigned repository, ensuring the respective information is securely stored. 8. Remain available and responsive to our business partner. **ACADEMIC BACKGROUND** Bachelor's degree in Accounting (certified). **TECHNICAL SKILLS** Taxation, IFRS, Cash Flow, financial analysis, reporting to parent company, estimates, derivative instruments handling, capitalizations, impairment.
