WE ARE HIRING A GEOLOGY GRADUATE OR RELATED FIELD WITH THREE OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SIMILAR ROLES TO WORK AS A GEOLOGIST FOR A GEOTHERMAL WELL PRE-DRILLING PROJECT. **WORK LOCATION:** SAN PEDRO LAGUNILLAS, NAYARIT Requirements Degree and Professional License **Experience:** Three or more years working as a geothermal well geologist; logging of geothermal wells, interpretation of hydrothermal alteration in volcanic rocks and drilling parameters; conducting, evaluating, and interpreting PTS logs (pressure, temperature, flow) and well pressure tests. **Software:** MS Office; WellSim; Pansystem; Leapfrog; ArcGIS. Responsibilities Conduct and interpret well logs and reservoir engineering tests to monitor and evaluate current conditions Clean and analyze various well variables provided by the operations department for monitoring purposes Update models and generate prospects by reviewing and producing geological, geochemical, and geophysical data from the reservoir to maintain and expand production Perform geological and geophysical interpretations to define short- and long-term reinjection strategies for future exploration Analyze, evaluate, and describe rock formations, hydrothermal alteration, and drilling parameters in "real time" Compare data collected during drilling against predictions made; identify any potentially hazardous changes during hole drilling to decide whether to suspend or continue drilling Advise on drill bit optimization during drilling operations Prepare daily reports on drilling cuttings, hydrothermal alteration, and drilling parameters Write executive and final logging reports related to drilling activities Issue service/equipment/supply purchase requests Perform preventive maintenance on geothermal wells through mechanical and/or chemical cleaning We Offer PL Competitive Salary Employee Well-being At Grupo Dragón, workplace inclusion and non-discrimination are fundamental pillars of our organizational culture.
