Description

We are seeking a Composite Materials Laminator Technician to join our high-performance trailer manufacturing team. In this role, you will directly participate in creating lightweight, strong, and innovative structures using materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, resins, and structural cores. Your work will be critical in fabricating chassis, platforms, and components that meet high standards of quality, strength, and durability. This position is ideal for a person with manual dexterity, attention to detail, and an interest in specialized manufacturing processes who wishes to become part of an operation focused on composite materials and high-performance products. Key Responsibilities * Prepare work molds by applying mold release agents, gel\-coat, and other materials required for the lamination process. * Cut, position, and laminate fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar fabrics according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and lamination schedules. * Mix and apply resins, catalysts, and core materials, carefully controlling proportions, working times, and finish quality. * Remove air bubbles, compact, and consolidate laminates to produce strong, clean, and uniform parts. * Perform wet lamination and support vacuum bagging processes when required. * Inspect parts during and after processing to detect defects, dry spots, air bubbles, resin excess, or inconsistencies. * Ensure each part complies with engineering specifications, quality requirements, and strength criteria. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace, following company safety protocols. * Collaborate with tooling, infusion, assembly, and quality teams to achieve an efficient and reliable manufacturing process. Requirements * More than 2 years of hands-on experience in composite material lamination. * Desired experience with fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, or similar materials. * Ability to read and follow shop drawings, work instructions, and lamination sequences. * Strong manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail. * Basic knowledge of resin, catalyst, and core material mixing and application. * Physical capability to lift loads of approximately 23 kg and stand for extended periods. * Commitment to safety, quality, and workplace order. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with composite materials in marine, automotive, aerospace, trailer, or specialty vehicle sectors. * Knowledge of different resin systems, such as vinyl ester and epoxy. * Experience in structural lamination, part finishing, defect repair, or support in vacuum processes. * Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and growing within the composites field. We Also Seek Developing Talent If you are interested in the world of composite materials, possess good manual dexterity, and are passionate about learning—but do not yet meet all the required experience—we may evaluate your profile for a junior or apprentice position. In such cases, you will receive training and be offered compensation commensurate with your experience, skills, and progress through the training program. What We Look For In You We seek careful, responsible individuals who take pride in their work. This position demands precision, patience, and commitment, as each layer of material directly influences the final product’s strength and quality. Here, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced materials and contribute to the manufacture of innovative, lightweight, and durable trailers as part of a specialized technical team.
