* Conducts an assessment of candidates’ veins for donation, performed after the blood bank’s clinical, physical, and laboratory medical evaluation and prior to carrying out the procedure, to ensure its viability. * For therapeutic procedures, assesses and monitors medical indications and the viability of catheters installed by the medical department to proceed with apheresis procedures. * Performs the process requested by the blood bank upon prior medical indication. * Provides continuous monitoring and comprehensive health status assessment of the blood donor and/or patient, as applicable, based on established nursing techniques. * Records interventions and outcomes of care provided in technical-administrative documentation. * Delivers the requested product to the blood bank for its therapeutic use, reserve, storage, discharge, and/or final destination within the blood bank service, in accordance with sanitary regulations and preservation requirements stipulated in NOM-253-SSA1-2012. * Collaborates in the development and updating of quality indicators.
