Know minimum capture velocities and proper hood and duct design.** 2. Technical Selection of Filters and Collectors Select appropriate collector (cartridge, bag, etc.) based on dust type, temperature, humidity, and static electricity risk. Knowledge of media such as Ultra\-Web, Dura\-Life, Torit\-Tex, etc. **3.** **\*\*Interpretation of Fan Performance Curves** **Understand CFM vs SP curves and select fans considering efficiency, noise, temperature, and motor type (TEFC, ATEX).** 4. Operation and Control Systems Management Familiarity with technologies such as MaxPulse™, iCue™, and Delta P controllers. Understand their impact on efficiency, maintenance, and compressed air consumption  . 5. Hazardous Dust Safety Identify whether a dust is explosive (Kst, Pmax) and apply NFPA 654, 68 or 69. Know when to use suppression systems or explosion vents.
