**Job Description:** **Plumber Job Summary** The plumber is the professional responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems, fixtures, and equipment related to potable water supply, drainage, heating, and sanitary systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Their work is essential to ensuring the proper functioning and safety of hydraulic installations. **Key Responsibilities** * Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for potable water, gas, drainage, and heating. * Diagnose and resolve issues related to leaks, blockages, and failures in hydraulic systems. * Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to carry out installations and repairs. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems. * Cut, assemble, and weld pipes and fittings using hand and power tools. * Install and repair sanitary fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and pumps. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations in all interventions. * Maintain an adequate inventory of materials and tools required for the job. * Provide technical advice to clients regarding proper use and maintenance of hydraulic systems. * Report the status of installations and work performed to supervisors or clients. **Requirements** * Minimum education: Completed high school or technical training in plumbing or related fields. * Proven prior experience in installing and repairing hydraulic systems. * Knowledge of reading blueprints and technical diagrams. * Ability to handle hand and power tools specific to the trade. * Knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene regulations and standards. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good physical condition and willingness to work in various environments and at heights. * Availability to travel to different job sites. **Competencies and Skills** * Attention to detail and precision in work. * Ability to efficiently solve technical problems. * Effective communication with clients and colleagues. * Responsibility and commitment to work quality. * Organization and time management.
