




A professional specialized in manufacturing precise mechanical parts using lathes (rotation of the workpiece) and milling machines (rotation of the cutting tool), interpreting engineering drawings, setting up conventional or CNC machines, and ensuring quality through measurement instruments—critical in industries such as automotive, energy, and machinery, where high precision and material knowledge are required. Key responsibilities * **Machine setup**: Adjust lathes and milling machines (conventional or CNC) according to specifications. * **Machining**: Produce individual or batch parts by removing material (chips). * **Drawing interpretation**: Read technical drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. * **Dimensional inspection**: Verify part measurements using instruments (calipers, micrometers). * **Maintenance**: Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines. Key skills: Knowledge of mechanics and machining processes; ability to interpret technical drawings; proficiency with measurement tools; adaptability to new technologies (CNC) and materials.
