Key responsibilities * **Machine setup**: Adjust lathes and milling machines (conventional or CNC) according to specifications. * **Machining**: Produce individual or batch parts by removing material (chips). * **Drawing interpretation**: Read technical drawings to understand dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes. * **Dimensional inspection**: Verify part measurements using instruments (calipers, micrometers). * **Maintenance**: Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines.
