Use of editing software and AI tools to optimize visual content Position: Junior eCommerce Designer Location: Nueva Industrial Vallejo Schedule: Full-time Summary Designer responsible for visual production across marketplaces and online stores: product photography, short videos for sales channels, and creation of social media posts. Supports the eCommerce team by delivering high-quality images and content that highlight technical specifications and facilitate conversion across sales channels such as Mercado Libre, Amazon, and Shopify. Main Responsibilities * Creation and editing of product photography for marketplace listings and the company’s own online store. Includes producing primary and secondary images highlighting attributes relevant to professional buyers (dimensions, materials, compatibilities). Also create simple infographics to illustrate usage, dimensions, or quick instructions. * Production and editing of short videos (60 seconds) optimized for vertical and horizontal formats for reels, shorts, and ads. Perform editing, color grading, captioning, and platform-specific optimized export. * Creation of visual assets promoting products on social media (posts, carousels, stories), aligned with the content calendar. Design static posts, carousels, stories, and promotional formats while adhering to brand identity. * Creation of banners and visual content for the online store in alignment with new product launches and special seasonal campaigns. * Use of editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, CapCut, Canva) and AI-based tools to enhance images, accelerate content production, generate variants, and automate workflows (e.g., background removal, detail enhancement, caption or prompt generation). * Verification that images and videos comply with marketplace policies, advertising regulations, and accessibility standards (alt text, contrast, readability). * Maintenance of an organized image and video archive with consistent naming conventions and metadata. Minimum Requirements * 0–2 years of experience in product photography, short video production, or social media design; academic or personal portfolio required. * Portfolio featuring examples of product photography and/or short videos (links or PDFs). * Practical knowledge of photography and video (DSLR/mirrorless camera or advanced smartphone), lighting, and basic editing. * Proficiency in editing software: Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, CapCut, Canva, or similar. * Basic experience with AI tools for creation/editing (e.g., image generators, automatic enhancement, editing assistants) — preferred. * Basic knowledge of web and marketplace export/optimization practices. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow style guides. Soft Skills \- Creativity applied to technical products and materials. \- Clear communication and collaborative work with the sales team. \- Ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly. \- Time management and prioritization of deliverables. Desirable \- Familiarity with carpentry supplies, materials, and technical terminology. \- Experience in furniture, hardware, or tool photography. \- Prior experience publishing on marketplaces such as Mercado Libre and Amazon (image guidelines and requirements). KPIs \- Average production time per product listing (photo \+ editing). \- Number of visual assets delivered per week/month. \- First-submission approval rate (feedback). \- CTR and engagement of posts and videos.
