Job Summary: An automotive dealership is seeking an Automotive Paint Matcher to perform laboratory cleaning, material dispatch, material receipt and inspection, color matching, and formula management. Key Requirements: 1. Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive paint matching 2. Knowledge of water-based and/or solvent-based techniques 3. Inventory management and color library management The automotive dealership is expanding and therefore requires: AUTOMOTIVE PAINT MATCHER · Age: 25 to 45 years · Education: Secondary school diploma · Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive paint matcher with knowledge of water-based and/or solvent-based techniques. Responsibilities: · Laboratory cleaning. · Material dispatch according to operators' needs (material usage is controlled per consumption tables). · Material receipt and inspection. · Color matching. · Color sampling using color test cards. · Formulating colors with their respective checks. · Verifying that checks are correctly loaded. · Identifying errors in incorrectly loaded formulas. · Creating and maintaining a color library consistent with system-loaded information. · Random inventory audits every 15 days to detect potential material entry errors. · Validating that color quantities and formulas recorded in logs match consumption tables.
