Logistics and Operations City: FEDERAL DISTRICT Publication Date: May 5, 2026 Schedule: 07:00 TO 19:00 Description: POSITION Distribution Assistant OBJECTIVE Visualize the operational focus to fulfill customer service requirements and achieve effectiveness and efficiency in transportation lines. With support from the procurement team, map available transportation resources to prevent customer service failures and provide support to internal customers (suppliers, colleagues, departments, etc.) and external customers (accounts). Identify transportation opportunity areas to communicate observations to the procurement department and provide feedback to LTs. FUNCTION Assign unit requests to transportation providers. Confirm to the requester the availability of required units and/or the scheduling of orders. Notify the requester that the transportation provider fulfills the loading appointment on time and as scheduled. Confirm general route details to the transportation provider via email. Generate a transportation assignment report, included in the consolidated load summary for each account. ACTIVITY Request transportation units via email at least 24 hours prior to the loading appointment, providing the following information: Service Type: Dry, specialized. Unit Types: Sedan, 1\.5 T, 3\.5 T, Rabón, Torton, 48- and/or 53-foot box trailer, double articulated. Cargo Type: Perishable, pharmaceutical, packaging material, documents, dietary supplements, cosmetics, technology. Additional Services: (Specify as needed). Loading and Unloading Points: Origin and destination. Recipient Information: Name, phone number, email address. Special Delivery Requirements: Loading and unloading. Carta Porte Supplement. Restrictions: Time windows, traffic restrictions, permits, receiving capacity. Loading Appointment Date and Time. Number of Units Required. Shipment Reference Number. Number of Pallets to be Transported.
