




Position Summary: We are seeking an organized, analytical, and critical Import Analyst to ensure the efficient acquisition of products, materials, or services. Key Highlights: 1. We seek an organized, analytical, and critical individual with strong drive to join our "Import Analyst" team. POSITION PURPOSE: To ensure the company acquires required products, materials, or services at optimal cost, quality, and timeliness, while complying with legal and regulatory import processes to guarantee efficient company operations. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, or Customs (in progress or completed) Experience: 1–2 years with a customs agency or freight forwarder. . Tools: Microsoft Office suite (Intermediate Excel mandatory: pivot tables and formulas). Language: Basic/Technical English (document reading). KNOWLEDGE: Customs Law, Foreign Trade Law, and NOM certifications. Documentation handling: Bill of Lading (BL), Packing List, Invoices, and Certificates. Goods classification and tariff classifications. Non-tariff regulations and restrictions. Tax calculation and Incoterms. Domestic and international transportation logistics (road and maritime). Desirable: Experience importing electronics or machinery. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Shipment Tracking: Monitoring maritime and land routes, verifying arrival and customs clearance dates, as well as coordinating land transportation. Customs Management: Reviewing and scrutinizing customs declarations to ensure legal compliance. Logistics Coordination: Managing custody arrangements, risk control, and delivery to warehouses/CEDIS. Financial Management: Calculating and processing payments for foreign trade operations and suppliers; analyzing import costs: taxes, tariffs, freight, storage, and customs services. Reporting: Maintaining databases and generating monthly movement reports. Supporting internal audits. WE OFFER: · Statutory benefits from day one (year-end bonus, vacation premium, and IMSS). · Salary: $14,000–$18,000 net monthly 'based on experience' (paid biweekly) SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM–6:30 PM Saturday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM Fixed rest day: Sundays.
