Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Assistant with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of light and heavy equipment, focused on operational efficiency and transportation control. Key Highlights: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on light and heavy equipment. 2. Extensive experience with various types of transportation units. Mechanical Assistant – Operations Area Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective services on light and heavy equipment according to the maintenance program issued by the Transportation Department. * Assign transportation unit requests. * Confirm to the requester the availability of required units and/or scheduling of orders. * Notify the requester that the transportation provider fulfills the cargo appointment on time and as scheduled. * Confirm general route details to the transportation provider via email. * Generate a transportation assignment report, included in the consolidated cargo summary for each account. * **Vehicle types:** Sedan, 1.5 T, 3.5 T, Rabón, Torton, 48- and/or 53-foot box trucks, double articulated vehicles. Proven experience in preventive maintenance of vehicles.
