**JOB OPENING \| CUSTOMS SPECIALIST**
**Work Location:** Venustiano Carranza, CDMX
**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
**Position Type:** Full-time.
**Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract.
**Monthly Salary:** $15,00\.00 gross.
**Job Objective**
Monitor client requirements according to established negotiations, ensuring **customs clearance is completed within a maximum of 72 hours** from the time the air waybill is collected.
**Requirements**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or International Relations.
* **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in a similar position.
**Required Knowledge**
* General Import and Export Regulations (LIGIE) and its explanatory notes.
* Customs Law.
* Annex 22 of the General Rules for Foreign Trade (RCGMCE).
* ERP system.
* Applicable regulations (SE, SAGARPA, COFEPRIS, SEDENA).
* Non-tariff Regulations and Restrictions.
* Entry of customs declarations (pedimentos).
* Current customs laws and regulations.

**Main Responsibilities**
* Maintain direct, open, and assertive communication with the customs team.
* Follow operational planning.
* Coordinate collections, pre-clearance submissions, and releases with customs agents.
* Verify tariff classification of goods.
* Review pre-clearance results and compare them against the proforma invoice.
* Validate references assigned during client onboarding.
* Upload e\-documents (COVES, letters, etc.).
* Prepare final proforma invoice for validation and payment.
* Submit documents for customs review (glosa).
* Ability to design and implement operational customs logistics.
* Measurement of KPIs for job performance.
