Logistics Operator Rio Valle is seeking our new: **Receiving Coordinator.** **Objective:** Lead and ensure the integrity of the inbound goods process at the distribution center, acting as the first quality filter and inventory control point. The role’s purpose is to ensure that the transition of products from transportation to storage is agile, accurate, and aligned with customer plans, maintaining high standards of safety, order, and immediate availability for orders. **Tasks or Responsibilities:** * Coordinate with the Account Supervisor on unloading arrivals from various clients, ensuring dock and personnel availability. * Maintain necessary documentation (bills of lading and seals) to close, validate, and sign off on goods receipt without discrepancies. * Guarantee a steady flow of goods from the dock to the work floor, and analyze ways to improve and refine Dock-to-Stock cycle times. * Supervise the material handling service provider to ensure equipment remains in optimal condition. * Supervise all personnel under direct supervision (assistants, data entry clerks, material handlers, and forklift operators) to ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols. * Provide appropriate supplies for accurate identification of received goods (pallet labels, strapping, stretch wrap). * Assign unloading zones and maintain an organized dock area to prevent bottlenecks. * Evaluate receiving staff performance, identifying training needs for handling textile and footwear products. * Alert the Quality and Process departments of any suspected pest infestation during unloading. * Accurately identify products located in the staging area. * Report and alert on arrivals that cannot be sent to Put-away (rack) within the timeframe agreed upon per client account. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise the execution of unloading, physical validation, and segregation of goods (textiles and footwear), adhering to operational discipline standards. * Guarantee a steady flow of goods from the dock to the work floor (staging area), optimizing availability time for the ON-Live Picking area. * Keep system records (WMS) up to date to ensure real-time inventory visibility. **We Offer:** * Fee-based contract. * Working schedule: Monday to Saturday.
