Participation in high-profile luxury residential projects. SHAMOSH STUDIO · SHST Project Architect LOCATION Mexico City TYPE Full-time LEVEL Mid–Senior REPORTS TO Principal Architect / Studio Director ABOUT SHST Shamosh Studio (SHST) is a luxury architecture and interior design studio operating in Mexico City and Miami. We specialize in high-end private residences — homes that demand technical precision, aesthetic sensitivity, and flawless interdisciplinary coordination. In Miami, we work across the city’s most prominent areas — Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, La Gorce, Sunset Islands, and others. We are a fast-moving team with exceptionally high design standards, and we regard documentation accuracy as a creative discipline in its own right. THE ROLE We seek a Project Architect to join our Mexico City studio and lead the end-to-end execution of our residential projects in the United States. This is not a design-support role — it is a leadership role focused on coordination and delivery. You will serve as the bridge between the Principal Architect’s design vision and the consultants, contractors, and clients who bring it to life in Miami. You will be the person who ensures nothing is lost in translation — ever. WHAT YOU’LL DO – Develop and coordinate complete sets of construction documents (architectural, structural, MEP, civil, landscape) for luxury single-family residences in Miami-Dade. – Manage relationships with consultants and maintain fully coordinated, up-to-date, and conflict-free drawing sets across all disciplines. – Track RFIs, submittals, ASIs, and design changes during construction. – Prepare and maintain project schedules, drawing logs, and deliverable trackers for multiple concurrently active projects. – Lead and participate in client meetings and design review calls in English — with clarity and professionalism. – Coordinate with Florida-licensed local architects for permit submissions and regulatory compliance. – Review contractor shop drawings and coordinate with structural and MEP engineers on technical resolutions. – Maintain SHST documentation standards through meticulous protocols for naming conventions, versioning, and file organization. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required – Degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or equivalent). – Advanced English — written and spoken. You will draft emails, lead calls, and present to clients in English without support. – Deep mastery of residential construction documentation and how architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings interrelate. – Exceptional organizational ability — managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously without losing composure or detail. – Solid proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D modeling or BIM tool. – Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and follow through without constant supervision. Highly Valued – Proficiency in Revit — a significant plus and preferred. – Experience or familiarity with U.S. building codes and permitting processes (Florida / Miami-Dade). – U.S. visa permitting occasional site visits to construction sites in Miami. – Experience coordinating luxury residential projects with construction values exceeding $2M USD. – Familiarity with FF&E coordination and interior documentation. WHO YOU ARE You find satisfaction in a perfectly organized set of drawings. You are frustrated when things fall out of sync. You read drawings the way others read books — fluently, critically, and quickly. You don’t wait to be told what’s next — you see it already. You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether writing to a structural engineer, a client, or a contractor in Miami. You take pride in your work and want to be part of a studio building something meaningful. WHAT WE OFFER – Active participation in high-profile luxury residential projects in one of the most demanding design markets in the U.S. – Direct, close collaboration with the studio’s principal architect. – Exposure to the full project lifecycle — from schematic design through construction administration. – A fast-paced, ambitious, aesthetics-driven studio culture that values craftsmanship and precision equally. – Competitive compensation aligned with expertise and contribution.
