Development and validation of analytical methods **We are seeking a Research Engineer** **Responsibilities:** * Conduct advanced and structured research in projects related to the development, innovation, or improvement of starch-derived products. * Apply knowledge of chemical reactions, functional groups, catalytic agents, and stabilizers used in starch modification and functionalization processes. * Develop and validate analytical methods for characterizing starches and their derivatives (e.g., moisture content, viscosity, solubility, thermal profile, swelling index, amylose/amylopectin content, degree of substitution of functional groups, among others). * Perform molecular structural analysis using analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography, or other instrumental tools when required for special projects. * Ensure reliability of analytical results through repeatability, reproducibility, verification, and instrument calibration tests. **We Offer:** * Monthly salary between $15,000 and $17,000 * Statutory benefits * Subsidized cafeteria * Career development and training plan * Accident insurance * Three paid leave days.
