Job Summary: We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the technology infrastructure, guaranteeing the proper operation of services and servers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Linux server administration and management 2. Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans 3. Linux system monitoring and troubleshooting At UTEL University, we seek a Linux Systems Administrator responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the technology infrastructure, guaranteeing the proper operation of services and servers in accordance with business service-level agreements. Responsibilities Linux server administration and management Service implementation and migration in Linux environments Infrastructure administration in AWS and/or Rackspace Server and service security management Linux system monitoring and troubleshooting Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans Documentation of processes and activities Incident support and resolution Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum 3 years of experience Linux systems administration Experience in: AWS and/or Rackspace Nginx and Apache Mail servers MySQL databases VPN Moodle (desirable) Networking, security, and network fundamentals Bash scripting English (basic to intermediate level) Competencies Problem analysis and resolution Attention to detail Teamwork Organization Proactivity Working Conditions Work Mode: On-site Standard Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Availability to cover operations from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM (rotating shifts) Days Off: Saturday and Sunday Salary: MXN $36,000.00 gross Fixed amount: MXN $32,000.00 gross; Variable amount: MXN $4,000.00 gross Statutory benefits plus additional benefits Work Location: Naucalpan, State of Mexico If you meet the profile and are interested in joining our team, please apply through this channel and we will contact you shortly. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education – Bachelor's Degree 3 years of experience
