Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.**Job Responsibilities:** **Functional Competencies** * Define a vision for the future direction of products manufactured by your operating group and associated required technologies. * Understand upcoming industry challenges, technologies, and technology trends that will influence your products and can formulate appropriate product planning. * Understand the value and lifecycle of competitive products and their relative advantages and disadvantages compared to products manufactured by the operating group. * Have experience in product development using new technologies through to launch and can apply lessons learned. **Specific Competencies** * Interpretation of GD\&Ts, weld studies, and mathematical models. * Proficiency with Office, MS Project, SAP, and IMDS. * BOM management. * Knowledge of PPAP and APQP. * Basic knowledge of NX and Catia. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
