




Growing restaurant seeks **experienced Cook A**, responsible for the proper preparation of food, handling of supplies, and compliance with quality and hygiene standards. The objective of the position is to **ensure efficient kitchen operations** and guarantee the excellent preparation of all menu items. **Main Responsibilities** * Follow preparation lists, supplies, and mise en place. * Comply with instructions from the Head Chef and Manager. * Apply the **PEPS (First In, First Out)** system for product management. * Organize ingredients and food in storage areas, shelves, and refrigerators, maintaining order and cleanliness. * Provide ingredients according to the established **portioning gram table**. * Wash and disinfect fruits and vegetables in accordance with **Distintivo Punto Limpio** standards. * Comply with **NOM-251** regarding food hygiene and safety. * Prepare menu dishes with exceptional quality, flavor, and presentation. * Keep the kitchen clean and organized (dishware, utensils, equipment, surfaces, waste). * Assist in events, catering, or special services as required. * Perform additional tasks assigned by the kitchen or management team. **Requirements** * Minimum experience: 1 year as a cook or kitchen assistant. * Education: Preferably Upper Secondary or technical degree in gastronomy. * Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety. * Flexible availability. **Attitudes and Competencies** * Service-oriented attitude and responsibility. * Cleanliness, organization, and discipline. * Teamwork. * Punctuality and commitment. * Proactivity and attention to detail. **We Offer** * Base salary of $8,400 per month. * Additional tips. * Statutory benefits. * Excellent work environment. * Professional development opportunities.
