Controls costs and optimizes the procurement budget Procurement Analyst Wanted Job Objective: Ensure timely supply of materials and equipment, guaranteeing quality, competitive costs, and compliance with technical standards and company policies. Requirements: * Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position. * Supplier interaction * Customer service orientation * Petty cash management * Negotiation skills * Knowledge of the metal-mechanical and services sectors. * Excel proficiency (mandatory) Responsibilities: * Manage procurement of electrical materials, steel, spare parts, equipment, and other items. * Request, analyze, and compare supplier quotations. * Negotiate prices, delivery times, and commercial terms. * Issue and track purchase orders until final delivery. * Develop and evaluate suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications. * Maintain an updated catalog. * Coordinate with departments to identify procurement needs. * Control costs and support optimization of the procurement budget. * Track deliveries with logistics and freight timelines. * Submit payment receipts and invoices to the administrative department. * Manage petty cash and supplier payments, among others.
