




Position Summary: MARSACOT PACHUCA seeks a professional to plan, direct, and supervise operations for the collection, treatment, and valorization of urban and special-handling solid waste, ensuring regulatory compliance. Promote environmental education and ensure regulatory compliance. **MARSACOT PACHUCA INVITES YOU TO JOIN ITS WORK TEAM!** **Position Objective**: Plan, direct, and supervise operations related to the collection, treatment, final disposal, and valorization of urban and special-handling solid waste within the municipality, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and citizen well-being. **Main Responsibilities:** * Design and implement comprehensive solid waste management strategies. * Coordinate collection routes, transfer stations, sanitary landfills, and recycling plants. * Supervise operational and administrative staff in the department. * Establish operational efficiency and waste reduction indicators. * Manage budgets, operating costs, vehicle and equipment maintenance. * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (General Law for the Prevention and Comprehensive Management of Waste, NOM-083-SEMARNAT, etc.). * Promote environmental education campaigns and source separation. * Coordinate with SEMARNATH (Hidalgo State Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources) and other regulatory agencies. * Generate technical and administrative reports to support decision-making. **Requirements:** * Education: Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field. A Master’s degree in Environmental Management or Public Administration is desirable. * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in similar positions, preferably in public or private sector solid waste management. **Technical Knowledge:** * Environmental legislation and Mexican solid waste regulations. * Collection and transportation logistics. * Recycling, composting, and final disposal techniques. * Budgeting, procurement, and vendor management. * Performance indicators (KPIs) and operational control. **WE OFFER:** * Statutory benefits. * Salary: $6,000 weekly, net.
